Beer & Wine Pairings
Lemon, lime, and orange are the core flavors at the center of almost every beverage experience. Think back to your Belgian whites, Hefeweizens, and Corona's - they likely had a wedge of citrus at some point to accentuate the flavor. With Crescendo Spirits, we take it to another level.
A little history
A shandy is traditionally a western European beer mixed with a non-alcoholic beverage (soda, juice, etc....) to a 50/50 ratio. Within this genre you can further define the types. A shandy can also be called a Radler, beer with lemonade, in Germany. A Panache, beer with lemonade in France. A Monaco, beer with lemonade and a shot of grenadine. A Diesel, beer with cola. The list goes on. The common thread between them is that the alcohol content is very low and made for refreshing summer beverages. We have a twist on the shandy line. The result keeps the beer a beer and gives you that extra citrus kick.
Listed below are our own experiments. Careful, once you try them you will be hard pressed to drink these beers without our delicious additions. And play with your own pairings, we love experimentation and post your favorite recipes or pairings to our Facebook page.
